For the past few years, Marian Catholic has hosted an annual Career Day, inviting Marian alumni to share information about their jobs to students.
On Thursday, March 12, Marian Catholic hosted a Career Day event where students could explore future ambitions by selecting their desired career for three sessions. For many students and staff, the day was a success as many students were able to ask questions and engage in discussion within a diverse range of industries.
From journalism, to law, to healthcare, the event provided students an interactive experience with Marian alumni who shared their experiences in devoted industries. Furthermore, by reflecting on their interests and industry expectations—such as finance and travel—students were able to narrow down their college and career options.
Students and staff shared their responses about the day.
“I liked it. I feel like every year there’s always some class I look forward to. I feel like there is a lot of variety. They are informational, but they are also fun and can get you on the path to knowing what you want to do,”
-Junior Esther Kanlinsou.
“I thought it was good. I liked that there were different opportunities to see what people do, and other careers,”
