Marian Catholic Football is undefeated two games into the 2022-2023 season.

The Spartans easily defeated Leo Catholic, 55-21.

Last night’s win nearly equals the entire total of wins from the team during the 2021-2022 season.

Last year the team won three games.

This year’s team has playoff aspirations.

The win is an impressive debut by new Head Coach Lopez and Sophomore running back Tyler Lofton.

Lofton scored five touchdowns.

Leo’s team had more injuries than touchdowns on the night. At times, Leo’s defense looked confused. What was never in doubt was the outcome of the game.

Marian Catholic has defeated its first two opponents on the year by at least three touchdowns.
